More about Home Care Packages

Home Care Packages (HCP) is a Government Program that enables eligible Senior Australians the ability to access funds to stay at home for longer. A key part of HCP is that these customers are only required to pay 30% of the cost of the meal upfront.

How do I know if I am eligible for a Home Care Package?

Eligibility is based on your care needs as determined through an assessment. You must also be an older person who needs coordinated services to help them stay at home. Find out more about assessment at My Aged Care.

If I am eligible, how much do I need to pay?

If eligible, your Home Care Package could cover up to 70% of your food costs.

Which Home Care Package providers do we work with?

We use a platform called Cookaborough to connect with many different Care Providers. If we are not already connected to your Care Provider, Cookaborough will work to establish this connection for you.

If you have any questions regarding your HCP meals application, please contact Cookaborough on 1300 302 665 or [email protected] who help us oversee this process.
