Starters
A light, nutritious vegetable packed soup celebrating seasonal vegetables, and pesto made from pumpkin seeds, basil and mint.
Traditionally served at the coldest time of year, New Year’s Day, this heart-warming soup (colloquially called Snert) is a real rib-sticker. Tradition dictates that a good “snert” should be so thick that a wooden spoon will stand up straight in it and this one certainly fits the bill. Flavour-packed with a nostalgic vibe, this soup is a family favourite.
Cozy, but healthy and delicious. Roast broccoli, with zucchini, and sharp cheddar cheese...
Mains
Japanese comfort food at its best - a bowl of healthy braised prawns, Asian greens and mushrooms in a sauce of sake, mirin, dashi and soy.
Fall apart duck meat with Middle Eastern flavours...What’s more duck is flavoursome enough to stand up to lots of spices. It’s also a beautiful meat to match with fruit, which this tagine effortlessly proves. * No bones, not spicy.
A warming delicious slow-cooked chicken casserole with tender chicken, lovely veggies and a seasoned creamy sauce. The work is done here, so you can look forward to a hearty family dinner when you get home from work. Serve it with mashed potato to soak up that delicious sauce. The king of comfort food.
Beef Carbonnade....If you’ve never heard of or tasted this classic Flemish beef stew, you’re in for a treat. Beef and onions are slow-cooked for hours in dark beer sharpened with mustard until rich, flavoursome and tender. It’s a taste sensation.
Aromatic, overnight lamb stew with eggplants and olives is perfect for this weather! Best eaten with steamed basmati rice and one of our grilled roti breads.
This is the ultimate, cosy comfort dish and so full of vegetables you won't even know it's good for you!
Infused with beautifully balanced spices, this classic Punjabi chicken maryland curry recipe makes for a delicious and comforting bowl of goodness for dinner.
The difference between a Red Curry and the famous Choo Chee Thai Curry? The choo chee sauce is normally served over seafood, it is thicker than a normal red curry and also a litte bit sweeter with a bit of sambal punch! We love its layered combination of heat and sweetness coupled with the freshness from kaffir lime leaves and sweet Thai basil. Like many Central Thai dishes, it’s the balance that makes it work.
Pop in the oven for 30 - 35 minutes and dinner is ready! Layers of slowly cooked bolognese ragu, creamy bechamel and mozzarella on top. A classic favourite! *Please note it is easier for us to transport this dish frozen.
