Home grown zucchini baked til the edges are crispy and delicious! Great for a quick meal and keep some in the freezer.
There are many varieties of the Persian Aash and it is much more than a soup and delicious on it's own or with meat or chicken. To say that aash is merely a soup would be underselling it – this hearty staple of Persian cuisine is always herb- based
A traditional Greek dish although we have borrowed inspiration from Gourmet Traveller and filled ours with pumpkin, cabbage and spices. Seriously delicious encased with flaky filo pastry
The teenagers favourite! They cannot get enough of the peanut sauce! We marinate chicken thighs in coconut and a spice mixture, grill them and serve with peanut sauce. We use pure peanut butter.
Simply delicious! We marinate juicy chicken thighs in yoghurt and spices and roast with potatoes and cauliflower. Note this is not a chilli hot dish
A delicious Southeast Asian curry with freshly made spice paste to ensure the authentic and complex flavours of this classic curry. We cook the beef in spice paste until tender and then simmer in coconut milk to ensure a caramelised, rich and tasty dish. Please note this is quite a hot curry! Can be frozen
A slow cooked stew with lots of subtle flavours and topped with pistachios, fresh dill and pomegranate. I love this dish with the many layers of delicious flavours.
Twice cooked potatoes turn roast potatoes into delicious crispy morsels! We supply these ready for you to finish in the oven to ensure maximum crunch!
A delicious accompaniment to a spicy dish
A delightful mix of fine pasta and rice with pinenuts. Works well with many different meals.
There are a few dishes that just bring back a flood of childhood memories and this is one of them. It's a classically old fashioned dish but seems to bring comfort and warmth around this time of year! One of my teenagers won't eat cauliflower but loves cauliflower cheese (go figure!).
I love this salad - sweet nutty pumpkin combined with nutritious quinoa and lentils and pomegranate combined with a delicious tahini dressing.
This recipe is from Gourmet Traveller and I just love it - a mixture of grains with creamy haloumi and grilled honey chilli apricots. Served with a simple yoghurt dressing. DELISH!
Quinoa has certainly been the trendsetter in recent years however I do love the nuttiness of pearl barley and that it reminds me so much of home and childhood! In thinking about creating a recipe for a vegetable dish using pearl barley I did some research and was pleased to note that it "kicks quinoa's butt for fibre and is only slightly behind for protein! This dish is tossed with a select of roasted vegetables and spices and served with a lemony, garlicy, olive oil dressing. Delicious on its own or with a serve of meat or some falafels! Serve warm, room temp or cold
I love a frittata - layers of vegetables, cheese, spinach and herbs mixed with egg, topped with cheese and grilled til caramelised crunchiness! This frittata is in a single serve about size of a pie so you can purchase as many as you want. Great for freezing and reheating for lunch or a light dinner. Each week we will be offering a different weekly special so please let us know if there is something that you dont want otherwise leave it to us!
A twist on the usual beef sausage roll, we use chicken with lemon and feta and fresh herbs.
A classic no bake lemon slice which never seems to go out of fashion! Sweet and lemony - it's the perfect treat.
We've changed our sticky date puddings up a little into smaller cakes with a caramel icing so that it's easier to pop in the lunch box or just have one at a time! We have also included our caramel sauce under sauces in case you did want it as a dessert!
Honey grown by local beekeeper Ben. Hives are on our property and this honey is from our hives as well as other local hives.
