Traditional Lasagne

This dish is a labour of love….meat sauce simmered for 6 hours, vegetables finely ground and sauteed, prosciutto browned and deglazed with wine, mozzarella and parmesan grated, Bechamel sauce, stirred, whisked and simmered, tomato sauce cooked with basil for hours and then all layered between sheets of fresh lasagne it is AMAZING!!

Preparation and storage notes

Cook from frozen or defrosted. Preheat oven to 180c. Remove outer packaging, drizzle with olive oil and cover loosely with foil. Place in preheated oven for 30 minutes (defrosted) 40 mins (frozen). Remove foil and cook for a further 10 minutes or until golden and bubbling and hot and soft all the way through - test with a knife.
