Considered by many to be the mother of all stews, Beef Bourguignon is a French dish made with beef, bacon lardons, carrots, onions and mushrooms slow cooked in a rich red wine sauce. Serve vegetables of your choice or mash potato.

Preparation and storage notes

take off plastic. Cover dish in foil and bake in a 150c preheated oven for 40 minutes.

Uncover and bake for a further 5-10minutes.
