Curries
Methi means fenugreek leaves. Chicken with a caramalised onion, yogurt and tomato gravy with the fenugreek leaves is a combination that is hard to top. This is the first dish I offered here at Spice Kitchen!
Punjabi Lamb Masala is lamb slow cooked for 3 hours in a spice mix with a tomato an onion gravy. With a house blend of garam masala. With rich gravy and succulent lamb, everything about this dish screams comfort food.
Some Combinations are just meant to be. Fenugreek and Tomato is one such combination. Mix it with Dhal and slight spices and eat with Ghee and Warm rice, this is what perfect for a winters' night looks like in our house.
Beautiful Winter veggie cooked in delicate spices like cumin, coriander seed, turmeric and garlic. Plus so nutritious.
Rice/ Roti/ Sides
Basmati rice cooked in whole garam masala, green chillies and Cumin and coriander. Fragrant rice with touch of spice goes well with any curries.
Raita is yoghurt sauce with finely chopped onion and grated carrot. It adds so much freshness to meals.
Crispy pappadom! You need these with Sambar. These are made with Rice flour gentle spices and air dried before being Fried!
These parathas are store-bought. Until I perfect how to make the flaky parathas at home these are a great substitute.
