Christmas Aussie Trifle

It’s impossible to imagine a Christmas without a festive trifle at the end of it. Some families eat it on Christmas Day and others on Boxing Day…either way, the trifle always makes an appearance at the Farmhouse. The traditional 3 layers of jelly, homemade custard, and butter cake, add in homemade jam, a good slog of Cointreau, and a few other surprises. This trifle is lovingly made over 2 days. Enjoy
