TVHC Shortcrust [Caster Sugar, Butter (Milk), Milk, Egg, Vanilla bean paste, Sea salt, Xanthan Gum], TVHC Basic Flour Blend [Rice flour, Tapioca Flour, Cornflour (GF), Potato Starch, Xanthan Gum]

Preparation and storage notes

Thaw the pastry in the fridge and when ready to use, let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. Preheat your oven to 160°C. For tart shells, roll the pastry out to 2-3mm thick, dusting lightly with gluten-free flour to prevent it from sticking. Press the pastry into greased tart tins and prick the bases generously with a fork. Bake for 25-30 minutes (until golden brown) to cook fully, or parbake for 12-15 minutes if adding a baked filling.
