TVHC Signature Flour Blend

This flour blend was developed by Melanie Persson, also known as The Very Hungry Coeliac, for use in her recipes and cookbooks. It is designed as a versatile blend for everyday gluten-free cooking and baking. Instructions for use included on packaging. To convert this flour into a self-raising blend, add 1 teaspoon of gluten-free baking powder for every 100g of this mix (this is best added as needed on the day of baking). This is the base flour used for The Very Hungry Coeliac’s breads, pasta, noodle recipes and more. Note that while this blend forms the foundation, those recipes require additional ingredients such as finely milled psyllium husk. For optimal results, follow The Very Hungry Coeliac recipes developed specifically for this flour blend.
