Founded in 2021 by Louise Milton (Lou), our business specialises in offering delicious, home-cooked meals without the hassle of preparation (all meals are delivered frozen).
Lou is a country girl at heart and grew up in a home where all vegetables were hand grown and meat was produced and prepared, a bee hive, fresh fruit and veg, fresh milk and eggs were a part of daily life. Lou developed a love of food and nutrition, focussing on using the best ingredients.
When Lou's first child was born without a jawbone, health challenges meant that for the first few years of life it was hard for her to manage food consumption - meaning literally every 'bite' counted - Lou developed her recipes and approach to maximise nutrition, flavour, good fats and a good culinary experience - this approach has been carried through in Made by Lou - for eg Lou's Butter Chicken is made on a base of pureed zucchini - you can't see it, you can't taste it...your body tho will thank for the gift of added nutrition.
