Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find helpful answers to all your questions. If you have a question and can't see the answer to it, please get in touch and we will let you know the answer and will add it to our FAQs for the next person who might have the same question.

Do you have a physical store?

We have physcial locations for our commercial kitchen and our warehouse, neither of these are retail shopfronts. Please see information about pick up options when you check out.

How do I unsubscribe?

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking 'unsubscribe' at the bottom of all emails.

Where are you located?

We are located in Brisbane. Our packing warehouse is in Milton and our kitchen is in St Lucia.

How do I cancel my order?

You can log in to your account and cancel your order from there. Orders can be cancelled anytime up until the order deadline on the menu.

Can I change my delivery address?

Yes certainly, you can log into your account and update your shipping address before the next order cut off.  

Can I change my delivery address after the order cutoff?

If you need to change your delivery address after you have placed an order please send an email with your order number and the new address for delivery. We will confirm if our delivery partner is able to accommodate the request to change address.

Is there an order minimum?

Yes, the minimum order is 10 meals or $137.

When will my order be delivered?

Delivery day is on Wednesday. Delivery will usually arrive between 6 am and 5.30pm.

What if I'm not at home / nobody is available to receive / will it spoil?

Your order will be left at your delivery address if nobody is home. Your food will arrive in either in an insulated box or polybox  with an icepack which will keep the food at temperature for up to eight hours.

Can I change my order after it has already been processed?

Please send an email to care@wholesomeness.com.au including your order number and details of the change, we'll do our best to adjust your order and will confirm back with you.

How do I create / register an account?

You can create an account once you've reached the checkout or simply click on the 'follow' button at the top of the page.

Do I need to create an account to order meals?

Yes you will need to create an account to make a purchase however you aren't committed to subscribe. There is no lock in contract and you do have the option of making a one off purchase.

What day and time is order cut off?

Our menu opens  every Thursday and is open for orders until Monday night, deliveries and pick-up are on Wednesday.

Do you have gluten-free meals?

All our meals are free from gluten.

Payments - I would like a refund / partial refund?

Please send an email to care@wholesomeness.com.au with you request for a refund with an explanation of the reason why.

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept all major debit and credit cards.

Do you accept afterpay?

We do not currently offer Afterpay, but expect to soon.

Are the meals delivered cold, fresh / frozen?

The meals are delivered mainly frozen, except for the salads and one or two meals that were cooked fresh on Monday. Our Nutritionist owner believes that provides the best preservation of nutrients.  

Do you use preservatives in your meals?

Our food us free from added preservatives, artificial additives like added colours and flavours

Do you use nutritional yeast in your meals?

Yes some of our meals contain nutritional yeast, and we will always declare this in the ingredients panel.

Do you use msg in your meals?

We don't add preservatives or artificial additives to our meals. On the rare occasional we use a ready made product like mustard etc. we try to sauce clean products.

Is the meat from grass fed animals?

Where possible, we use grass fed meat or grain fed chicken.  We try to source hormone and antibiotic free meat from our butcher.

Which meals contain coconut oil?

We use coconut oil in our vegan meals along with other quality oils, typically olive oil , with the occasional sesame oil in Asian style meals or truffle infused oil in some of our mushroom dishes. 

Do the meals have a nutritional panel on them?

Yes, all of our meals come with a nutritional panel on them.

How do i keep my meals fresh? how to store / storage?

You can freeze the meals for up to 6 months and then once thawed, we recommend you consume within 72 hours.  Frozen meals will still be food safe after 6 months, if kept frozen.

Once thawed, how long will the meals stay fresh before consumed?

We recommend you consume the meal within 72 hours of thawing.

Are your meals gourmet?

Yes, our meals are cooked to perfection by experienced chefs and cooks who are passionate about great tasting and nourishly good food.

Are your meals fodmap?

Our meals are gluten free, dairy free, cane sugar free and we don't add additives, preservatives, etc. You can request low FODMAP plans.

Are the meals ready made or cooked fresh?

We cook, we package, we chill and we freeze meals conveniently delivered to your home or workplace ready for YOU to enjoy!
