We are based in the beautiful Bass Coast of Victoria and operate a Food Store and Meal Delivery service to our community.

About us

Pete and Cass are a husband and wife team who started delivering meals just before Covid 19 hit in 2019. They are both qualified chefs and Cass is a qualified Nutritionist. They have a passion for creating healthy food and strive for quality service in every aspect of meal production and service.

Whether you're busy with family life, in recovery, in training or just don't have time to buy quality ingredients and make nutritious meals for yourself and the whole family, choose the Wanderlust Chefs.

Our menu consists of several salads, treats, individual meals and Large Size servings. All are priced accordingly and all have gst included in the price.

Our menu changes often and our meals are always made with love and with ingredients you can trust. Our menus are designed to cater for most dietary requirements and we always have gluten free, dairy free and vegan options.

Our focus is on locally sourced produce where possible. We support local farms who are sustainable and regenerative, including Biodynamic Chippen Estate in Woolamai and Pura Vida Market Farm in Ryanston.

We pride ourselves on using whole food ingredients with no artificial ingredients or preservatives.

We use unrefined sugar alternatives, such as medjool dates and rice syrup in our snacks and treats. And, for our plant lovers, we like to make nut butters and mylks, (they are really fun to make too)...., and we also soak beans, nuts, seeds and legumes before use, to try and reduce the phytate content (the anti-nutrients that block our ability to absorb vitamins and minerals), which means they are more nutritious.


How it works

ORDER FROM OUR MENU
Every Friday morning our menu is up to view and choose from. We change our menu each Friday for the following week.

Order before Sunday night if you live in Grantville, Coronet Bay areas, San Remo or Phillip Island areas. Our menu closes for these areas at 10pm on Sunday.

Order before Monday night if you live in Wonthaggi, Inverloch, Cape Paterson or Wattlebank. Our menu closes at 10pm Monday for these areas. Our minimum order for delivery is $50 and our delivery fee is $12.00 - $15.00


DELIVERY OR PICK UP

Delivery is Wednesday if you live in San Remo & Phillip Island, Kilcunda, Bass, Coronet Bay, Corinella, Grantville and Surrounds.

Delivery is Friday if you live in Wonthaggi, Cape Paterson, Inverloch or Wattlebank.

Your meals are delivered to your door at the appropriate temperature (below 5 degrees). If you are not home for your delivery, please leave an eski at your door for your meals. Once your delivery has arrived, please ensure meals are placed and kept in the fridge, as soon as possible.

There is no minimum order amount for our pick up orders.

Order 1 meal or 10 and pick them up at the Food Store at 140 Graham st, Wonthaggi.

The Wanderlust Chefs Food Store, located in The Arcade on Graham street, Wonthaggi, is filled with your favourite meals and quick, Grab and Go Lunch items including; gourmet salads, baguette rolls, arancini and Thai fish cakes. Our desserts include vegan and gluten free treats, Trullis croissants, bread and cannoli, and of course our house-made cakes.

The Wanderlust Food Store is open M-F (9-4:30pm) and is located 140 Graham st, Wonthaggi. We are the last shop in the Arcade in the Main street. You can choose to pick up your order on Wednesdays and Fridays from the store.


INGREDIENTS AND ALLERGENS

Each menu item is labelled with its ingredients and allergens present. Please read the ingredients on each menu item before you choose your meals, if you have intolerances or allergies.

NB* Our meals are made in a kitchen that contains eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, sesame, crustacians, soy, wheat, and gluten. We endeavour to avoid cross-contamination, through best practices, but are unable to guarantee the complete absence of these allergens


LARGE GROUP PERSONAL CATERING SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Prices include; GST and disposable eco-platters.

Delivery and Service of your event is an additional fee.

We accept no liability for any losses, damages or disputes arising from catering or food preparation.  Whilst all care will be taken to provide special dietary requirements, we are unable to guarantee that our meals will be 100% free from allergens.  Specific dietary requirements are to be discussed with the Wanderlust Chefs prior to the event.

Any service outside of the final quote given will be chargeable.  

The Wanderlust Chefs will endeavour to carry out the listed services to a high professional standard, however, the Wanderlust Chefs, hold the right to alter or change the catering supplied in case of reasons beyond their control.  

The Wanderlust Chefs will adhere to all Victorian Health and Safety laws when delivering and on site.

Phone or email cancellations are accepted only before 7 days prior to the event.

These Terms and Conditions will represent a contract between the Wanderlust Chefs and the Client according to the laws of Victoria.
