The Reuben Tart
Inspired by a famous sandwich that you *may* have heard of, here we have a Pastrami, Sauerkruat and pickle cake, topped with an Edam cheese custard and showered with a crunchy caraway and Panko crumb. The closest we'll ever be to a toasted sandwich shop, and we're not sad about it.
Ingredients
Edam Custard - REUBEN (Cream, Egg yolk, Edam, Organic Dijon mustard, Cream cheese, Salt), Zucchini Pickle - Reuben (Zucchini, Water, White wine vinegar, Sugar, Dill, Salt), Reuben Cake (Sauerkraut, Egg, Pastrami, Brown butter, Zucchini, Almond meal, Flour, Salt, Baking powder), Shortcrust pastry (Flour, Butter, Water, Salt), Caraway Crumb - Reuben (Panko breadcrumbs, Caraway seeds, Salt).
