Local seafood pie w smoked reef fish, prawns & spanner crab. Creamy sauce with potatoes, garden peas, lemon and dill, comes topped with buttery puff pastry.
Ingredients
Milk, Reef fish, Potato, Prawn, FISH & CRAB STOCK (Water, Fish frames, Crab, Brown onion, Celery, White wine, Thyme, Black pepper, Coriander seeds, Star anise), Peas, Butter, Plain flour, Spanner crab, Brown onion, Fennel, Celery, Leek, Puff pastry, Garlic, Parsley, Dill, Salt, White pepper, Lemon zest.
Preparation and storage notes
Pre-heat oven to180c (fan forced), remove cardboard lid and cook for approximately 45-55 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown. Ovens vary, please adjust cooking times if necessary. Serves 2.
