Traditional Fruit Hot Cross Buns
Six sourdough hot cross buns. Traditional with a twist Infused with fresh orange paste, studded with sultanas, currants and housemade candied orange, subtly spiced with cardamom, cinnamon, ginger nutmeg and allspice, glazed with sticky orange syrup. Made with fresh stonemilled WA wheat, chemical and pesticide free, grown in microbiome rich soil.
Ingredients
Milk, Freshly milled and sustainable wheat flour, Organic plain flour, Wild yeast (Levain), Fresh yeast, Sugar, Salt, Unsalted butter, All spice, Cinnamon, In-house candied orange peel, Currants, Sultanas, Ground cardamom, Nutmeg, Orange juice, Eggs.
Preparation and storage notes
Baked fresh every day. Eat fresh or toasted with lashing of butter!
