Lamb shank Nihari is characterised by its complex blend of spices including cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper. The lamb shanks are simmered in a gravy rich in onion, ginger and garlic, this is cooked over several hours to form a melt in the mouth texture.

Lamb shanks, Water, Brown onion, Vegetable oil, Flour, Garlic, Ginger, Salt, Cumin, ground, Paprika, Coriander seed, Cloves, fennel seed, Ground ginger, Caraway seeds, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Star anise, Bay leaves, Cinnamon, Chilli powder, Black Peppercorn.
Preparation and storage notes
Remove lamb and sauce from bag and warm gently in a pot or in a deep tray in the oven (160 degrees 20 minutes) until hot. Oven temperatures may vary.
