Coq au Vin with porcini and Madeira
Coq au Vin is a rich and flavorsome French chicken casserole, we add porcini and Madeira to add a complex and earthy profile to this timeless classic. This fantastic combination comes with lardons of high quality pancetta, mushrooms, thyme and plenty of red wine.
Ingredients
Chicken stock, Chicken Maryland, Red wine, Mushrooms, Shallots, Quality Pancetta, Madeira, Unsalted butter, Flour, Thyme, Porcini mushrooms, Black Peppercorn, Bay leaves.
Preparation and storage notes
To reheat Defrost before heating. Microwave: Remove bag and heat in microwave in its tray for 2-3 minutes or until hot. Stove: Decanter into a saucepan, stir occasionally on a medium heat for 7-10 minutes or until hot. Oven: Or into the oven in the tray it comes with on 160 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
