Nepalese Yellow Lentil Soup

This soup is a favourite with our staff at Katering, served many a time to nourish our chefs through long days in the kitchen. It's simple, healthy and bursting with flavour. A little bit like a dahl but lighter and fresher; packed with healthy fresh turmeric, garlic and braised yellow lentils. Serve for lunch or dinner with a freshly baked crispy roll and butter.

Water, Red lentil, Roma tomatoes, Brown onion, Garlic, Salt, Coriander, Turmeric powder, Coriander seed

Preparation and storage notes

STORAGE: keep frozen
INSTRUCTIONS: Defrost entirely before heating. Pour soup into a pot and bring to a simmer on a low to medium heat. SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Serve with fresh yoghurt and bread of your choice.
