SIZE: 1.4kg Serves 8 adults or 12 adults as part of a shared meal This classic Greek filo pie is a fantastic vegetarian option for your family Christmas table. Made with silver beet, ricotta, soft herbs and flaky filo pastry brushed with butter and topped with nigella seeds, pepita, sea salt and cracked pepper. This one is a little larger than our usual offering and will feed 8 people very comfortably as a meal with a light salad or pop it on the dinner table for a beautiful grazing table.
Ingredients
Ricotta, Silverbeeet, Filo pastry, Spinach, Eggs, Breadcrumbs, Ghee, Dill, Mint, Lemon zest, Microplaned garlic, Nigella seed, Sunflower seed, Pepitas.
Preparation and storage notes
COOK: Partially defrost in the fridge for 24 hours prior to baking. Place on an oven tray. Pre-heat oven to 200c fan forced and bake for 40min then turn oven down to180c and bake a further 30-40 minutes (depending on your oven) – lift out of foil tray - slice and serve SERVING SUGGESTIONS: consume warm and crispy from the oven.
