Chicken, Mushroom & Bacon Pot Pie
Chicken pie is a favourite with my kids just like it has always been a favourite of mine. This is a creamy version with mushroom, leek, vegetables and free-range braised chicken all topped with flaky rustic puff-pastry. The ultimate in comfort food.
Ingredients
Chicken thigh fillets, Mushrooms, Chicken stock, Milk, Leek, Brown onion, Bacon, Carème puff pastry, Butter, Plain flour, Olive oil, Thyme, Dijon mustard, Black pepper, Parsley, Black sesame seed, White sesame seed.
Preparation and storage notes
STORAGE: keep frozen COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Defrost in fridge overnight. Preheat oven to 190ºc. Place pie onto an oven proof tray and cook for 30-40 minutes until bubbling and hot. Rest for 10 minutes and serve.
