Turkey & Sweet Leek Pie

Turkey is such a versatile protein. I love it when cooked gently to retain it's juiciness and delicate flavours. Who could think of a better way than putting it into a delicious, flakey pie!! We add bacon, leek, thyme, sage to love oil and lightly sweat before adding the turkey meat and water chestnuts with a touch of cream and flour to make a delicious sauce. We then cover with puff pastry. All you need to do is pop it in the oven to ensure you've got a golden crusty pie for a summer evening. Serve with a beautiful side salad and a glass of wine.
