Zelda originated in Maaryasha's garage in Elsternwick in 2018 and has since moved into a shop in Ripponlea. Zelda bakery is committed to baking for the local community using local ingredients and sustainable practices where possible.

Zelda Bakery is a sourdough bakery that started in Maaryasha’s garage before moving to Glen Eira Road, Ripponlea in 2021, where it soon established itself as a popular destination for locals in search of delicious breads and pastries.
Using wholesome local ingredients all Zelda breads are handmade using a natural leaven, flour, salt and water and baked using traditional techniques on a stone oven.
On Wednesday and Friday locals can browse the window display for staples and treats, both sweet and savoury and now it’s also possible to order online via Cookaborough.
