How do I sign up?
Simply click on the sign-up link in the right-hand corner of our page and enter your details.
How does The Grub Club ordering work?

We publish a new menu every Friday at 7am. Once you are signed up to our store you will automatically receive an email each week with our new menu to order from. Our offering will change weekly and seasonally.

How do I order?
Head to our website www.thegrubclub.com.au and click the 'Order Now' button. Once you've signed up and created an account you'll be able to place your order.
Is there an app?
Not yet, but stay tuned!
When do you deliver?
The Grub Club provides delivery on Fridays only at this stage. To see the full list of delivery suburbs please head to www.thegrubclub.com.au and click on the 'Delivery' tab. We are always tweaking and adjusting our delivery suburbs so please email dougie@thegrubclub.com.au if you would like us to consider adding your suburb to our list!
What if my delivery suburb doesn't appear when I check out?

We currently deliver to many suburbs throughout Melbourne Metro, Pakenham, Officer, and the Dandenong Ranges. If you can't find your suburb for delivery, you can collect your order from Bam Bam Italian (445 Belgrave-Gembrook Rd Avonsleigh VIC) every Friday between 4-10pm. What are the menu opening and closing times?

Our menu ordering closes each Sunday night at 10pm. New menus are released via email and online on Fridays each week at 7am. You will receive an SMS advising you of your delivery ETA or when your order is ready for collection.

Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum order for pick-up orders. The minimum for delivery orders is $50 per order.
What are the delivery fees?

Delivery fees start at $5 and increase according to your distance from Emerald. Delivery fees will be calculated automatically at checkout. Please see our delivery page to see a full list of delivery suburbs and fees.

A menu item is sold out, what can I do?
We cook to order so there is very little chance of us not having your product in stock. There may be some instances where we have a limited quantity of a product and once they are sold out online, the best thing to do is wait until the next week's menu announcement to see if the product you would like to order is back in stock. Any questions, please get in touch with us!
My order is a gift, can I send a card with my order?
We have created special, blank gift cards if you would like to include a message with your order. Please select the 'gift' option during checkout and write your message in the text box provided, we will then include the message on a card in the delivery to your recipient.
I didn't receive exactly what I ordered.

You don't deliver to my suburb.
We are consistently reviewing our delivery area and capacity, please contact us to make a request and we will let you know if it’s possible.
My delivery day is on a public holiday, will I still receive it?
We will adjust our delivery windows around public holidays. Available windows will automatically be shown based on your address and post code.
Can I collect items on the day without ordering? Where from?

We stock a selection of ready made meals in our chilled cabinets at Bam Bam Italian along with a range of providore goods also. Visit bambamitalian.com.au for opening hours.

What if I live in a gated complex, or high-rise building?
You will receive a text message with a window for your delivery. Please make sure you are home or perhaps provide us with a neighbour's details to deliver if you can’t be home. These instructions can be added at the checkout.
How do I contact The Grub Club?

Who can buy alcohol?
Those over the age of 18 may purchase from our alcohol selection online. Receipt of alcohol during delivery will be subject to RSA and liquor licensing regulations. Alcohol may be ordered or picked up from Bam Bam Italian.

A maximum of 2 bottles may be purchased per person per day. Anything additional ordered will be refunded or credited to your account.
Packaging
We endeavour to operate as ethically and sustainably as possible and will continue implementing new ways to reduce our environmental impact. We invest in biodegradable packaging where possible.
What time can I expect to receive my order?
You will receive a text message on the day of delivery with a delivery window when the driver departs from Bam Bam Italian.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Currently we accept credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. PayPal is coming soon!
I am an NDIS participant, can I order through The Grub Club?
The NDIS guidelines allow certain participants the ability to access meal preparation as part of their funding. As the cost of the ingredients are ineligible, we allow for 70% of the cost of the meals in addition to the delivery fee to be claimed back.

There is a quick, one-off process (outlined on our website thegrubclub.com.au/ndis-hcp) that you need to go through to be approved, however once up and running there is nothing else involved.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
If you are on a Plan Managed account, our cooks only charge 30% of the meal cost upfront and then we do the administration and follow up with your Plan Manager, so you don’t need to do anything.

If you are on a Self Managed account, our cooks will provide you with an NDIS approved invoice of which you then claim back 70% via your online Portal.
How do I heat my meals?
All The Grub Club products come with instructions on how to heat and serve on the ingredient label. The pouches can be placed in boiling water to heat the entire contents, or opened and heated in the microwave or a pan on the stove.
Can I freeze my meals?
Meals can last up to 3 months in the freezer, please make sure you freeze them a couple of days before the expiry date. If your products from The Grub Club arrive frozen you cannot let them thaw and then re-freeze them.
Where are The Grub Club products prepared?
Products by The Grub Club are prepared by our team of qualified chefs at our restaurant kitchen at Bam Bam Italian in Avonsleigh.
Can I customise any products?
Unfortunately we can’t customise items.
What if I have a dietary requirement?
Each menu item has a full list of ingredients so you can see what our meals contain. Allergens are also highlighted for ease of reference.
Product shelf life.
Most pouch items last for 2 weeks fresh from date of packaging, there are a few exceptions, please always check the expiry date on the package.
What dollar value can I purchase a gift voucher for?
Vouchers are available for $50, $100, $200 or customisable amounts. When you purchase a voucher, it will be sent to you via email for downloading and printing if you wish.
I am an HCP participant, can I order through The Grub Club?

HOW DOES IT WORK?
If you are on a Self-Managed plan, when you process your order, you will only be asked to pay 30% of the meal cost upfront. We then liaise with your Care/Plan Manager to recover the balance.
