SLOW COOKED LAMB SHANK with mash & greens
Classic comfort food dish. Lamb shank is slow cooked with vegetable soffritto, red wine, fresh herbs & tomato until fall off the bone tender & served with a side of buttery mash potato & greens.
Ingredients
Potato, Lamb shanks, Onion, Pea, Carrot, Green beans, Tomato paste, Milk, Butter, Red wine, tomato puree no added salt, extra virgin olive oil, Garlic, Celery, Thyme, Bay leaf, Rosemary, Sea salt, Pepper.
Preparation and storage notes
Remove lid from paper box & microwave for 2 minutes until heated through. If in foil tray then remove lid & reheat in oven at 160 .c for 15 minutes or until heated through.
