SPINACH, FETA & FILO PIE WITH PINE NUTS
My take on Spanakopita (a Greek Silver beet & feta filo pastry pie. ) Onions & garlic are sauteed with fresh silver beet & spinach then folded into creamy ricotta & Greek feta cheese. Laced with fresh dill, toasted pine nuts & nutmeg before being tucked into filo pastry & finished with olive oil & sesame seeds. The result is the lightest most crisp pie ever. Perfect on its own or with a side salad.
Ingredients
Silverbeet, Ricotta cheese, Feta cheese, tasty cheese, Egg, Onion, Pine nut, Filo pastry, Olive oil, sesame seed, Garlic, Dill fresh, Nutmeg, Sea salt, Pepper.
Preparation and storage notes
TAYLOR MADE FOOD 0417613493. Remove lid & bake at 180.C 30 minutes small or 45 minutes for large, or until pastry is golden. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
