Sourdough English Muffins
These muffins are perfectly delicious toasted or used as a weekend breakfast burger. For an authentic touch split them open with a fork to expose their beautiful craggy holes. Best served toasted with a thick pat of butter or lemon curd to melt into delicious golden pools. If you like them crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle, then heat them up whole in a hot oven.
Ingredients
Bakers Flour, Milk, Sourdough Starter, Eggs, Local Raw Honey, Salt.
Preparation and storage notes
These will stay fresh for up to 2 days, store in paper bag at room temperature. These can be heated up in a hot oven for 3-5mins or cut in half and toasted. These freeze well in a zip lock bag.
