The Savoy Truffle Story

After growing up in the North East, Kate Akrap built a reputation as one of the region’s finest chefs. Beginning her career at Tuileries before refining her skills at Melbourne’s renowned Mecca and other celebrated kitchens, Kate developed a passion for creating thoughtful, flavour driven food.

With family and the pull of the North East calling her home, Kate returned to the region and worked with a number of acclaimed local wineries and restaurants before founding Savoy Truffle Co.

Created as a way to balance her love of cooking with family life, Savoy Truffle Co is now focused on nourishing local families and supporting older Australians to remain independent at home through delicious, wholesome meals. Kate proudly caters to the local community, including those accessing Support at Home services, with carefully prepared dishes made from quality local produce wherever possible.

Each week, Kate offers a rotating menu featuring a soup delivered Tuesdays, alongside a family-sized main meal and dessert delivered Thursdays. By intentionally limiting the menu to just a few carefully crafted options, Kate ensures every meal is made to the highest standard.

Menus are emailed every Friday for Tuesday’s nutrition bowls, breakfast cups and meals, as well as Thursday’s main meal and dessert. Orders close Monday at 3pm, with free delivery available Tuesday and Thursday afternoons throughout the Rutherglen, Wahgunyah and Corowa region. Savoy Truffle Co is also a thoughtful and reliable option for those receiving Support at Home assistance and looking for fresh, home-style meals delivered direct to their door.
