Lamb Moussaka
This is comfort food, Greek style. Full of delicious fresh and dried herbs and spices which complement the locally sourced lamb, Moussaka is to Greece as the Lasagne is to Italy. What we love about this dish is that you also get a great mix of vegetables - this dish celebrates the humble eggplant in a way few other dishes do. Best enjoyed and with a glass of your favourite wine, this is slow food...without the hard work!
Ingredients
Bechamel (Milk, Butter, Flour), Lamb shoulder, Eggplant, Parmesan cheese, Canned tomatoes, Dried Oregano, Fresh mint, Olive oil, Nutmeg, Garlic, Cinnamon powder, Tomato paste, Salt, Pepper, Onion brown.
Preparation and storage notes
Reheat Lasagna for 35-40 mins in 180c oven with foil on Remove foil & heat further 10 mins until bubbling & warmed through Portion & serve with a green salad and some red wine! Store up to 3 days or freeze for one month
