Chicken cacciatore, bullhorn peppers, Agrodolce
This Italian classic features large pieces of tender chicken thigh, baked in a rich and complex tomato sauce with capers, thyme, garlic, olives and bullhorn peppers, we then finish with fresh oregano and a sweet vinegar to add depth to this wonderful main dish. This goes fantastically with gnocchi, pasta or even just some crusty bread.
Ingredients
Chicken Maryland, Tinned tomato, Chicken stock, Pepper (bullhorn), Onion, White wine, Tomato Paste, Olive oil blend, Kalamata olives, Capers, Anchovy, Garlic, Thyme, Chilli Flakes.
Preparation and storage notes
Defrost before reheating. Remove plastic bag from tray and warm in tray in oven (160 degrees) or heat in microwave until hot in the centre.
