Mac’s Hotel Mortlake has always been one of those places people feel at home the minute they walk through the door. Run by Jodie and Richard Beeck, the pub has become a much loved part of the local community, built on good honest food, genuine country hospitality and the sort of warm welcome that keeps people coming back.
Locals know Mac’s for its classic pub meals, generous serves and relaxed atmosphere. Now, Jodie and Richard are bringing that same care and community spirit to the Mortlake Support at Home community, with a dedicated meal service designed to make life that little bit easier while still delivering the comfort of a proper cooked meal.
Fresh meals are prepared daily in the hotel kitchen and available for pickup, making it easy for customers to collect meals when it suits them. The menu is packed with hearty favourites and familiar classics people genuinely enjoy eating, from soups and traditional mains through to proper comfort food that feels like home.
Think bangers and mash, golden fish and chips, parmas, stir fries and slow cooked favourites, all cooked with care and made to satisfy. There is also a rotating selection of desserts, because everyone deserves something sweet to look forward to now and then.
The menu offers plenty of variety, with lighter options alongside more hearty meals, giving customers the freedom to choose what suits their appetite, routine and the day ahead. The service is designed to be flexible, reliable and easy.
At its heart, this is about good food and good people. Meals are fresh, accessible and built around the kind of flavours locals know and love. For older residents and people receiving Support at Home funding, it offers a simple way to stay independent while still enjoying quality meals without the hassle of cooking every day.
Orders can be placed online, over the phone or in person. Approved Support at Home customers only pay 30 per cent upfront, with the remaining amount managed through their care provider.
For Jodie and Richard, this is about more than meals. It is about looking after people properly, creating a service the community can count on and making sure everyone who walks through the doors of Mac’s Hotel feels cared for, welcome and well fed.
