Moussaka
Moussaka is to the Greek what Lasagna is to Italians. A rich tomato meat sauce lightly spiced with oregano and cinnamon, layered with soft eggplant instead of pasta sheets, and topped with a thick layer of béchamel sauce. Soooo good!
Ingredients
Eggplant, Potatoes, washed, Beef mince, Milk, Tomato, Beef broth, Onion, Red wine, Butter, Egg, Plain flour, Parmesan cheese, Breadcrumbs, Egg yolk, Garlic, Sugar, Beef stock powder, Salt, Dried oregano, Chicken stock powder, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Bay leaves, Pepper.
Preparation and storage notes
reheat at 180C for 25 minutes uncovered or until a knife inserted into the centre comes out hot. serve with a Greek salad
