Baharat Beef with Olives (Frozen)
This one is thanks to the wonderful Herbie's Spices. Baharat spice blend is a mild combination of paprika, pepper, cumin, cassia, cloves, coriander, cardamom and nutmeg. The beef is slowly cooked in the spices with olives and served with a scattering of pine nuts.
Ingredients
Casserole beef, Beef stock, Tomatoes, crushed, Kalamata Olives, Baharat Spice Blend (Nutmeg, Paprika, Cumin, Cinnamon, Coriander seed ground, Cardamom, Cloves, Black pepper), Red onion, Carrot, Extra virgin olive oil, Garlic, Sea salt.
Preparation and storage notes
Transfer to a heat proof dish and warm in the oven at 150C for 20 minutes or until warm. Serve with quinoa, couscous, sweet potato puree and freshly chopped parsley.
