Food For Friends

My name is Sarah, I am a passionate home cook, yoga teacher and mother.

Hello and welcome to my kitchen!

I have always loved to cook - my earliest memories of cooking include baking Anzac biscuits to enter in the cooking competition at local show of the country town I grew up in!

Fast forward several years and my interest in yoga and Ayurveda gave me the opportunity to learn about eating for the season, our individual constitution and the idea of eating mindfully and with intention. Over the years I have experimented with various ways of cooking and eating. Some super 'healthy' others more focussed on decadence, or entertaining friends and family. Now, I truly believe that different people thrive on different diets and ways of eating, with the most important thing being to eat for joy and pleasure.

I have been hosting boutique yoga retreats for many years now. As well as teaching yoga classes, I serve my guests wholesome shared brunches and take home meals. The idea of cooking ready to heat meals came from the enjoyment I got from cooking for my guests, and now I am lucky enough to do it every week.

Now, my menu is less 'yoga retreat' (but still wholesome and nourishing) and more 'family friendly with slightly fancier than usual options for the adults!'.

I am excited to be offering ready to heat meals and snacks to be delivered to homes around Bangalow. I understand the desire for many people to want to eat nourishing meals, yet find it difficult to plan, shop, prepare and cook. This is where I hope I can help!

How it works.

First, sign up to order meals.

Every Thursday at 9am a menu is sent out to your email. The menu will close on Sundays at 5pm.

Closing the menu each week gives me time to source the highest-quality ingredients for your meals, then prep and cook each item from scratch.

You can either select pick-up or delivery to receive your meals. Pick up is available Tuesday afternoons each week or anytime Wednesdays.

You do not need to be home to receive the meals. You can simply leave an esky and ice bricks out, or nominate a safe place to leave your delivery.

This regular routine will also help you to form a habit around ordering your meals each week. It certainly takes a load off knowing that a couple of nights a week are taken care of! Many of the meals are freezer friendly, so you can feel super organised.
