Hello and welcome to my kitchen!

My name is Sarah, I am passionate home cook and yoga teacher. Feed the Yogi is how I combine these two loves.

My earliest memories of cooking include baking Anzac biscuits and Lamingtons to enter in the cooking competition at local show of the country town I grew up in!

Fast forward several years and my interest in yoga and Ayurveda gave me the opportunity to learn about eating for the season, our individual constitution and the idea of eating mindfully and with intention.

Over the years I have delved into Ayurvedic cooking, Sally Fallon's ideas through Nourishing Traditions, fermentation and everything in between! I loved learning all this, but truly believe that different people thrive on different diets and ways of eating, with the most important thing being to eat for joy and pleasure.

I have been hosting boutique yoga retreats for many years now. As well as teaching yoga classes I also serve my guests wholesome shared brunches and take home meals. The name Feed the Yogi was originally the name I gave the bags of home made granola I would make and serve at the yoga weekends.

I am now excited to be offering ready to heat meals and snacks to be delivered to homes throughout the Northern Rivers. I understand the desire for many people to want to eat nourishing meals, yet find it difficult to plan, shop, prepare and cook. This is where I hope I can help!

For yogis and non-yogis alike!

How it works.

First, sign up to order meals.

Every Friday a menu is sent out to your email. The menu will close on Tuesday at 4pm.

Closing the menu each week gives me time to source the highest-quality ingredients for your meals, then prep and cook each item from scratch.

Deliveries are Thursdays. You do not need to be home to receive the meals. You can simply leave an esky and ice bricks out, or nominate a safe place to leave your delivery.

This regular routine will also help you to form a habit around ordering your meals each week. It certainly takes a load off knowing that a couple of nights a week are taken care of! Many of the meals are freezer friendly, so you can feel super organised.
