Quince tart tatin

New seasons quinces have made their way into our kitchen and what better time, as the weather cools down, to make the most of this very underrated fruit. First we have slow cooked the quinces to ensure they take on their brilliant ruby color, before we cool them and arrange them in the bottom of a pie dish. Next, We tucked it in with our buttery house made short crust pastry and the rest is up to you. This dessert is finished at home by baking it in your oven. Once the tart is golden and bubbling, simply and carefully invert onto a serving plate and serve with either cream or ice cream....Or both .....!! (This dessert is not microwaveable until it is baked first!)
