Maple Pecan Pie (GF)

A classic chess pie that is very traditional on Southern American menus. Pecan halves generously surrounded in a maple flavoured custard and baked in a flaky crust. A favourite among many. *Contains pecans.

Ingredients
Maize flour (GF), Maple syrup, Pecans, Whole egg, Unsalted butter, Brown sugar, Dark brown sugar, Vanilla, Salt, Mace, Pastry (GF).
Preparation and storage notes
METHOD Mix dry with butter and vanilla. Add partially beaten eggs. Add syrup. Pour over pecans in the pie base.
