Classic Moussaka
The Greeks are famous for moussaka. A classic family-friendly dish from the Mediterranean, moussaka is classic comfort food, but we happily eat it all year round. It consists of layers of pan-fried eggplant, a thick, rich lamb-tomato sauce, and a topping of deliciously creamy bechamel sauce.
Ingredients
Eggplant, Lamb mince, Milk, Diced Tomatoes, Brown Onion, Grated Cheese, Salted butter, Minced Garlic, Flour, Extra virgin olive oil, Cinnamon, Allspice.
Preparation and storage notes
1. Remove plastic covering 2. Place in oven. TRAYS ARE OVENSAFE. 200 degrees From Fresh 5-8 minutes. From Frozen 15-20 minutes (until defrosted & golden) Alternatively heat in microwave until warmed through. 3. ENJOY!
