The base of our much-loved vegetarian lasagne, this is also the sauce for your spaghetti or soft polenta. Add a good grating of parmesan to finish. Great as a pie filling or as a sauce over roast vegetables. Rich and delicious and family-friendly.

Red lentils, Carrots, Celery, Onion, Leek, Garlic, Olive oil, Red wine, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Herbs, Salt, Pepper.
Preparation and storage notes
Simply heat through in a saucepan till hot. This meal can be frozen.
