Farmhouse Jelly Slice

Everyone remembers a special someone in their lives who made the best jelly slice as a kid growing up. Mine was an inspirational woman Betty Rogers, she use to get my brother to crush the Marie biscuits with a rolling pin in a plastic bag until they were just perfect. The lemon filling had to have the right amount of tang and then you had to use Aeroplane red jelly for the top and only that brand.
