Sticky Date Pudding
This is my all-time favourite dessert. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but when I am craving something sweet - it is this! Rich, dense date slice, then covered in our butterscotch sauce. Oh My! Serve with custard, whipped cream or my favourite - vanilla bean ice-cream!
Ingredients
Butterscotch Sauce (Thickened Cream, Brown sugar, Butter, Vanilla extract), Medjool Dates, Water, Plain flour, Butter, Eggs, Brown sugar, Baking powder, Bicarb soda.
Preparation and storage notes
Remove the lid before heating. If defrosted microwave for 1 min, if frozen microwave for 2 mins. Add a little water to loosen sauce if needed.
