Banana Bread

I love to have a loaf of this baked with any bananas that didn't get eaten during the week to use as a great after school snack for the kids (or even a sneaky afternoon tea for myself!) The smell when it is cooking just fills the house with warmth, and then we toast slices the next day, pile on the butter and devour. This freezes well too, just slice it up and store in the freezer for up to 3 months - although I doubt it will last that long! it never does in our house!
