Gluten Free Traditional Cloth Bound Christmas Pudding
What is Christmas without pudding? Our Gluten Free Christmas puddings are loaded with fruit that has been soaked in Brandy and lots of spices, just like our Traditional pudding recipe. With treacle, brown sugar, butter and almonds you can't go wrong. All you need now is some of our Gluten free Brandy Custard. We have removed them from the cloth so that it is easier for you to heat at home. Our small pudding is approximately 500gm and serves 2. Medium is 1kg and serves 6. Large is 2kg and serves 10-12 people
Ingredients
Dates, Egg, Raisin, Currant, Sultana, Gluten free flour, Gluten free breadcrumbs, Milk, Suet, Dried orange peel, Butter, Brandy, Glace cherries, Treacle, Almond, Self raising flour (GF), Lemon zest, Ground ginger, Bicarb soda, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Mixed spice, Brown sugar.
Preparation and storage notes
Keep Cryovac'd pudding in the fridge until needed. Reheat by placing the unopened bag into a pot of simmering water. Allow 30 minutes for 500gm puddings, 1 hour for 1kg pudding, 2 hours for 2kg puddings. Alternatively, microwave cut pieces of the pudding for 1 1/2 minutes per piece or until hot. Serve with custard and icecream or cream
