Traditional 'Blakes' Christmas Plum Pudding, Brandy Custard

My granny Blake’s recipe (sans sixpences!) involves macerating the fruit for two months in brandy and rum before steaming the pudding and letting it settle and mature for another month. Only then do we deem them ready to eat!

Preparation and storage notes

Remove the pudding from packaging. heat in a microwave or cover with foil and heat in oven at 160c until warmed. Heat brandy custard in microwave safe dish stirring at 45 second intervals until warm. Pour over the pudding
